Kevie Simon
Kevie Simon is a board member of Deep Roots and a therapist at Fresh Roots. In the counseling office, Kevie’s primarily works with trauma, partners/family members of addiction, and spouses who have experience betrayal. She received her bachelors from John Brown University in Family and Human Services and a masters in Clinical Mental Health from Denver Seminary. In addition to counseling, Kevie does public speaking engagements with her husband around marriage and sexuality.
Kevie is married to Chris who is also a therapist at Fresh Roots. They have two little boys who keep them on their toes constantly. When not chasing kids or in the office, Kevie loves being out in her garden and walking outside as often as possible.
Todd Stephens
Todd is a native of Northwest Arkansas, residing on a small farm in Lowell with his wife of over 30 years, Melissa. Together, they have navigated the journey of raising and releasing three adult children. The multicultural makeup of the Stephens family, including children adopted from Vietnam and China, has given profound insights into the dynamics, joys, and challenges inherent in adoptive families.
After graduating from the University of Arkansas in 1989, Todd has held various positions in the insurance industry throughout a business career spanning over three decades. In 2000, he accepted an opportunity to serve as General Manager for a local mutual insurance company, a role he continues to uphold alongside his counseling practice. Inspired by a divine call in 2018, Todd began the pursuit of a graduate degree in Counseling at John Brown University, culminating in licensure in mid-2021. Equipped with a blend of compassion, education, and a real-world perspective accrued through years as a husband, dad, and businessman, Todd is committed to providing holistic therapeutic support to individuals and families as they navigate life’s challenges. Todd serves as a Deep Roots board member.
